So I did call up Joey’s room.. and got no answer.
Waited another half hour then just went to the mini-mart for some cheap dinner. For 600yen, I got a carton of grape-tea, a pint of chocolate drink and a small bento of yakisoba (fried noodles) and takoyaki (fried squid balls). They even heated it for me and everything.
As I was walking out, Amoroso and the wife were walking in. They said that ‘there’s been some concerns about the people that stayed behind in Nagoya sticking together in a group’. You mean.. the TWO of us? Yeah we were together the whole day up until this point.
Then he said that ‘Joey said that he was thinking about going to Hiroshima and if he does, then we need to find someone to pair you up with’. Stupid study-abroad policy :\
So I don’t know if Joey is actually the one that said this or if it was Ben.
Oh yeah, forgot to say that Ben (the guy that took over all the group presentations) called while we were out at the mall. I don’t know the order he called, but I missed the call and Joey heard it. He said that Ben was trying to convince him to come with them on the trip out there but he didn’t really feel like it, that he wanted to just relax for a bit. (Also noted that Ben didn’t invite me along apparently..?) And he apparently said that Amoroso had wanted him to find out what our plans were and what we were doing today.
Uh.. if Amoroso wanted to know, wouldn’t HE have called us? Ya know.. just an (obvious) observation… -_-
Friggen annoying teacher’s pets… *sigh*
