Been up for less than an hour and don’t really wanna goooo~
We meet up at 9:45 and head to another university, but this time at least it’ll only last until like 2 o’clock. So Imma go shopping after this!
About to go out and get some breakfast.. of some sort.
I wonder what the other guyz did last night..?
After that buffet-kind of reception, the convinced one of the students to come back with us and drink. A transfer student from Australia who’s been here a year and three months lol He said that he’s transferred for two semesters… so how long are the semesters here? =O
And a couple of the guys had oooone too many drinks. Ben was nearly plastered on the trainride back. He had out his little handicam thing was was moving down the train shoving it in the face of every girl. ‘iz part of- it’s a thing for a university!’ One girl I’d been sitting next to then moved to a better seat just shut him down. Another started to talk with the transfer Ausie about something before leaving.
That’s what reminds me why I don’t have a whole lot of fun here. I don’t care about hitting on the locals :\

Just got back from Akihabara and boy are my feet tired :V
Wait.. that’s not how it goes… :\
Anyway!
We went to Skuba University today and it was… pointless?
I don’t mean to sound rude about it, I mean I’m happy they had us and all but.. Well, Skuba is a huuuuuge university. Er… asking Jeff just now, I was wrong :V It’s a very small one. 16,000 students. I got confused because they showed us a video of the university and all that where it’s situated inside Science City. But that’s not the university, that’s IN the city populated by a shit-ton of RD places.
And we didn’t even go to that campus. We went to a satellite campus, the oldest one there is. SO old in fact, they’re tearing the building down at the end of the year. :\ And the things taught in this campus were things like acupuncture, nursing and business management. Wait wah?
So our tour guide person was actually a French guy name Remi that spoke English perfectly well, studied in Georgia for 5 years to get his MBA, then married a Japanese woman, took her name and moved to Japan where he got his masters and such.
Then another two professors came in… and stayed a few mins then left.
So we ended up presenting just the most basic Kennesaw U. powerpoint we had and the same kind of PR video we had to two of them. Then we went out to lunch and that was it. We were done at 1:30!
So then a bunch of us didn’t have anything left in the room, so we all headed out and went back to the hotel, leaving like half the group behind lol.
So we got back to the hotel and ‘let’s just go get changed and be down in a few minutes’ turned into ‘let’s go check our mail, facebook, whatever else and meet up whenever’. I’m down there in 5 minutes… and wait another 5 minutes for the first person to show up. A few mins later two more drift in.. Wait another 5 mins and nothing. So then I say fuck it and tell them ‘I’m gonna run to the room, brb’ Go upstairs, grab a new shirt and come back down.. to see them all walking out the door -_- Bastards.
But I didn’t feel AS bad when they also left Ben behind after saying they’d wait for him. (Apparently he never came at all.) So we go and take the subway down there through a transfer and all that. And we come out where I have no f-ing idea. Lol We go around and check out a few game shops, they went in a bunch of duty-free shops looking for cameras and a few used shops so another guy could look for used laptops of the micro-variety.
After that we stopped inside a dirty shop just for the hell of it and I actually found one of the items I was looking for there! :O No it’s not anything actually dirty, but since it’s got a niche market in the fetish market, they were there :3
The other guys spent like sooo much time in there it was hilarious. So when they came out, a few of us were starving (the others had already eaten some Turkish meat pita things. ‘The last few bites my mouth went from ‘mmm this is good!’ to ‘oh god no!’ … And I’m pretty sure I’ll be screaming that again in a few hours tonight..’). So after deciding they didn’t want fast food, I showed them to a rotating Sushi parlor. I’ve you never seen one before, the sushi comes in pairs on little plates that sit on a converyer belt round and round the bar. You grab what you want and they tally up the number and type of plate you have at the end.
I got 8 plates and paid $15 :3
Then while waiting for everyone else to finish up, I wandered into an arcade with someone else. Got separated and I went up looking for him, came back down and most of the guys were out there. So went back and found him playing Street Fighter 4. So we hung around for a bit before going up there to haze him to try and get him to finish faster, when that didn’t work, we sat around him and talked. I played a round in the Gundam battle game then got bored. Then me and another guy got bored and came back home.
