Welcome to Okazaki, on the way to Toyota City.
Um… I kept thinking that I wanted to sit down and write some stuff.. and now that I’m here, I’m drawing a blank on anything to say lol
Oh yeah, right after I typed the last one, we went out to the combi (quickie mart) and bought a whole little carton of grape-tea and chugged that son down :3 so now I’m sloshing lol

Sitting on a tour bus for Toyota as we get ready to go on a tour of the factory for ‘mid-size’ passenger cars. In the museum, I took a crap ton of movies and pictures. Then when I tried to plug the SD card into the laptop, it didn’t register. :\ So I’ll reset later and do it then. And off we go on a 20 min drive to the factory.
Okay, since I’ve got so much time, let’s talk about the factory.
They had a whole lot of things about the Prius, all kinds of explinations of how it works, what makes it ‘good’ and such.
Then they had a spiffy little animatronic model of the production line.
A display of the new little one-seater…. Thing.
And a robot that plays trumpet. Everyone but me seemed to be amazed by it.. but since it was anchored to the back wall and not even free standing, it was just a bit anamatronic thing :\

just left the wielding building after visiting the assembly shop. Too bad we couldn’t take any cameras or the like inside. There were all kinds of things like the ‘doors off’ method of assembly, which is how the shell of the car is sent to the assembly plant fully painted and assembled.. and then they take the doors, hood and trunk off of them to get at the parts, which then just slowly circle the plant until they’re ready to be put back on.

Just left Toyota City and now riding along back to Okazaki.
My back hurts from carrying the computer in a saddle bag, and my feet aren’t hurting as much now that I’ve had some time to sit. He’s running over a plan of what to do tomorrow, about the presentations that no-one’s actually gotten to memorize or prepare for. Nice. I’ll rant about that later, right now I’m kinda distracted pretending to listen to him while typing this out. Oh and being slightly annoyed just about the presentation thing as a whole. Blurg.

Just got back to the hotel to find my room is being cleaned, so I sit here in the lobby and wait.
And as soon as I typed that line, the lady came and handed me the key. So now I’m sitting here in the room, roomie just stopped in for a minute, changed clothes and went out again. I’ll go out in a while too, once I get done writing this and just upload a few pictures. I guess I’ll edit and post those movies I took later tonight.
On the train ride(s) back, I was just like zoning out and dozing. Sleeeeepy~
Seems like most of the people are going to go out to either Nagoya Castle or the Mall. I’ll probably go to the mall as well in a bit, get some window shopping in, and get fud in mah belly :V

Oh yeah, forgot to say that we came out of the station on the wrong end (Mostly I think we were all chasing a white girl in a slut-dress? lol as I heard one guy say 'follow the white rabbit'). Then we got led around the city by Andrew.. and turned out to be all wrong.. even though I kept saying that over and over :V
So about half of us broke off while the others just had to duck into a dollar store for crap.
