Just got back… and roomie came back with us ~.~ No more privacy and free net for me. Boo-hoo. But whatever. Right now I’m freaking hungry…
SO! Took a shower and got ready to go, went down stairs and Joey was sitting in the lobby with his new GTFO shirt on and said he was keeping it, screw his friend. But then he decided to switch out to a plain shirt, not wanting to offend anyone that might read English here, ‘but I’ll wear that damn thing alllll over Marietta.’
So we took about 50 minutes on the bullet train to get there, in which time I was kinda zoning in and out of sleep with my ipod. But I feel bad for Joey. Dude said he can not sleep on transportation. Even a 14 hour flight, that he stayed up the whole time.
We got there and called Ben (the brownnoser) to see where he was. “meet us in about an hour to go to Osaka Castle.” “Okay :V “ So we wandered the station a bit, got a drink and a snack then headed over to the subway and rode the rails over to the castle. It dumped out right infront of the NHK main (Osaka?) building. That thing looks amazing. And around the corner in the front of the building was a protest going on with some people walking around with signs and giving rants from a set of megaphones. One of them was holding a sign with that ‘gunslinger’ image of the guy that went on the V-Tech shooting. So if I had to guess, I’d say that it was a protest against some pro-Korean things NHK did?
Whatever.
So the two of us just kept walking down the street along the wall of the castle moat and just enjoying the warm weather… at least until the heat got to Joey’s pale skin and my black shirt :V
We make it inside the castle and give them another call at the appointed time. “I don’t even know where we are man.. we’ll be there in 30 mins. 45 tops.” “…Okay…”
So the two of us wandered around the castle grounds and saw damned near everything long before they showed up.
One thing was a ‘palace guard’ that if you showed an interest in a photo, he would hand you his spear and let you ‘kill’ him. Got two of those photos. No. I didn’t kill the poor dood XD
So we walk all over the damn place and still no guys. So we call them up and “we’re crossing a bridge to it now” ….There’s 4 bridges!
So we wander about some more trying to find them by going to three different bridges and no luck. We call them and say ‘meet us right infront of the castle.”
20 minutes later:
TWO of them show up.
5 minutes later:
The rest of them were sitting on their asses eating shaved ice and drinks from one of the little food vendors. >=O
They were all talking about how ‘fucking amazing’ the hostel they stayed at was and said that “Oh man you shoulda been there, you’d’ve loved it.”
To Joey.
Once again I was just in the background of everything.. not really counted as a part of the group, but god help if I don’t actually show up or Ben will goddamn tattle on me like a 5 year old.
So that soured my mood for the rest of the day with them. -_- I didn’t WANT to go inside the castle and stuff. I just WANTED to stay in the hotel and talk to people that I miss very much -_-
Now I can’t even do that because roomie is webcamming it up with his g/f.. who has the day off, so he’ll be on for hoooours.
Then again, I’d do the exact same thing so I’m not mad *Shrug*
So apparently Joey and Derek (another guy that stayed) are going out for food. Roomie is going to steal some chopsticks from a restaurant downstairs so that he can eat some cup ramen in the room and not leave his g/f. D’aw~ I think.

Just got back from an Italian place that was really fancy. SO fancy in fact that the bread bowl that they give you while wating for the food costs 350 per person. SO fancy that the coke is 650, per GLASS. But the pizza I had was pretty good. Not a lot to it though :\ Oh well… that’s $30 from my allotted 100 he gave everyone to spend on food. And what we don’t use (WITH receipts), then you owe back. Too bad none of the small places give you receipts! I mean if you’re buying something from a cash only mom-and-pop place, chances are they don’t use a cash register with a printer... :\
