Left the house and off to the airport with mom.

Through security, baggage check and all that stuff. Oh and if you’ve never been in a flight into/out of Atlanta, you have to ride a tram just to get to your concourse, 1.25 miles from security check to concourse E, international flights. :3
Derek bought a 6pack of McDonald’s sausage biscuit and gave me one. Omnomnom. Besides that, I’ve had two granola bars and a thingie of applesauce.. er.. PEARsauce, fuck ya!
Surprisingly I’m not the last person to get to the airport, there’s still a guy or two drifting in. And I have yet to see Amoroso (the professor). The guys said that he’s going out and getting food or something with his wife and kid, who are also going on the trip.

And Amoroso finally showed up, saying he was worried about me since I wasn’t there to join them in their check-in… at 7:30. If there’s one thing my mom knows, it’s how long airport regulations take. So we left home when they were meeting up and breezed right on through~

Sittin’ on the plane in mah nice blue leather chair, with a heavy pillow and the bulkhead behind me, so all is well~ *Grin grin*
When they asked if I wanted window or isle I said window, then almost took it back since I thought I’d be up and down getting my bag out of the overhead, but no such case since the seat infront of me is soooo far away. Now, just to be an even bigger dick, here’s a picture of the glasses they serve the pre-flight drinks in~

Had to cut the last one short as I suddenly went ‘oh crap! Where’s the power outlet here?’ The guys had been talking about how only the first 10 rows would have power or something and it wasn’t where I’d last seen it. Turns out it’s under your elbow in the console. And it’s even been changed around so it’s an AC plug instead of that special airline one. Not that I care, I has a plane adapter :3 Yes, seems like I’m over prepared even lol.
So.. our 10:10 flight took off at 10:52. Does that still count as ‘on time’ like they said? And somebody remind me on the return flight, but I got to see a really awesome exhaust effect as we took off. The smoke was coming out of the engine in such a perfect line, and the aerodynamics were so well done that the line actually snaked over the wing and over the backside. Just like you see in those wind-tunnel tests.
And lucky me, in the row behind me on the other side is Amoroso and his wife. Different sections, but I can see him through the curtain(/netting). *Staaaaaaare~!* No not really.

Ooh~ I was expecting the selection to be kinda meh for movies, but there’s a good number of them I wanna watch. Let’s start with.. Inkheart. Why the fuck it has Arabic subtitles, I dunno…
Btw, if you’re ever gonna go flying around get some of these noise-cancelling ones :3 Makes all the noise fade out into just a low rumble like driving on the freeway.

Ah~ Good nap. The pillow is heavy a feather one, and the blanket too are very nice. The only think that made it bad was that goddamn kid. Everyone knows that my patience is pretty short when dealing with little kids. Especially if the kid is babbling, yelling and squeeling every 30 seconds and the parents aren’t doing a thing to stop it.
Anyway.. now gonna start with 12 Rounds. Hope it’s good.. I mean, a bit offsetting to see “A WWE Production” at the start.

Odd thing is, I’m not nearly as bored as I expected to be. I mean, I’ve got a computer and a bunch of those silly games that come preloaded on it, a library of movies onboard, and my DS/PSP which arent’ even touched yet.

Well we got our passes and everything in order and we’re all sitting around now waiting for the Express train to pick us up at a station. I’m like burning up. I wanna change out of my dress pants and shirt cuz I’m buuuurning~
and my ticket says 11-A for the train. It just got here and everyone just about jumped up to rush onto it like it’s gonna turn around and leave *checks*15 minutes early lol So now they’re all standing there as the train is cleaned before it turns around to take us to the shinkansen (bullet train).
Off one sit-fiesta to another. 2 hour ride. …..*Hums* A two hour ride~

Let’s try this again, now that I know what the hell happened.
Okay, I went ahead of them and saw a train leaving at :26, and I almost got on, but then stopped when I didn’t see anyone. Turns out that was the wrong train after all. So as I sat down to wait for the next train listed (in an hour), I got a call from Ben on the phone asking where I was and all that, and to get on platform 14, only had 1 minute to do it. So I run to the platform and jump in the train… on platform 15 across from it. -_-
Now I’m sitting on another train that just took off. It’s got 5 stops before it gets to Nagoya. So this puts me at, what, 30 mins behind everyone? Oh well. I’m not bothered in the least lol I enjoy the quiet.
Oh, and thinking about it, I’m gonna switch over to Japan-time at the start of the new day. No sense changing it now.
For now: enjoy the silence of the train as it coasts along…

Uuuugh… sometimes Japan trying to be ‘neat’ is a horrrrible pain in the ass! >=O
For the past 10 minutes (at least) I’ve been stumbling around the hotel room in the dark because I couldn’t turn on the f-king lights! I pushed every button, flipped every switch and pulled ever cord while using my cellphone for light.
turns out that the neat little keyholder by the door with the glowing ‘button’ (can’t be pushed) is the power. You have to jam the keyholder into a little slot and stab it downwards to connect some kind of circuit.
WHAT THE FUCK!?
I mean, that might be a neat thing (if you knew about it) if it was just you, but these are double beds! What if you want to leave but your roommate doesn’t? You either take the key and leave the fucker in the dark, or hope to god he doesn’t go anywhere or YOUR ass is blind. And yeah you can leave it with the front desk, but that’s just as much of a pain in the ass. Especially since only 3-4 of us on the trip know how to say more than ‘arigato Mr. Roboto’.
In other news.. the hotel doesn’t have WIFI. And I don’t see an internet jack anywhere… But at least it has a TV… Yay?
Anyway, yeah, I got to Nagoya about 40 mins behind everyone else and finally found the hotel, apparently I’m rooming with someone.. when there’s already another person in the room? I’m very confused right now :\ And hungry. But I don’t wanna just leave the room and have my roommate come back only to be locked out, and I could just leave the key with the front desk.. I’ll just swallow my hunger and wait it out.
….Probably in the lobby where they DO have wifi… >.>
